Pad Hands
When you play on a pad so much you forget how to hit a real rimshot. It's like being a kid who only knows how to draw stick figures and then gets asked to paint a mural.
I couldn't do a rimshot in front of my drum corps and got called a weakling.
I missed a rimshot and my snare player started laughing at me during the show.
I tried to hit a rimshot during my solo and it was like I was trying to kick a brick wall.
