A fake name Mike Doughty used when he was too lazy to be cool and just wanted to be called something that sounded like a bad math problem.
"I'm not Mike Doughty. I'm M Doughty. It's less work."
He posted on Twitter, "M Doughty is here to save your soul. Or at least your Spotify playlist."
The manager said, "We've had M Doughty before. He's the one who brought a sandwich to the show."
