Kabuki Speaker
Speakers from the 60s and 70s made in Japan that had huge woofers, way too many parts, and fit in a tiny box or weighed less than a bag of chips. They sucked at playing music, making it sound like some fake theater show.
Man, these speakers turned my metal band into a high school play.
I tried playing bass through them and it sounded like a broken kazoo.
