Jack booting is when a government or authority uses cops or goons to punch you in the face until you shut up and do what they say.
The cops came to my house and told me to stop protesting or they'd beat me up.
My teacher threatened to call my mom if I didn't stop talking.
The government said if we didn't pay taxes, they'd throw us in jail.
