I lift at home
A fake excuse you use when someone tries to drag you to the gym. It works until you realize you're just making up numbers and your biceps are the size of a potato.
‘I lift at home, I don’t need the gym.’ (He’s trying to convince himself he’s not a fraud.)
‘I lift at home, I’m too busy with my life.’ (He’s just too lazy to leave his couch.)
‘I lift at home, I’m saving my energy for the weekend.’ (He doesn’t even know what ‘energy’ means.)
