I lied
A teacher's way of saying they got caught in a fib, but instead of owning up, they say they were wrong on purpose, like they're too lazy to admit they're stupid.
"I lied," said the teacher, who clearly didn't know what a lie was.
The teacher tried to say they were wrong, but it was obvious they were lying.
Teacher: "I lied." Student: "You didn’t lie, you just failed."
