haggis hangin'
A Scottish way to ask if you're still breathing, usually used when someone looks like they’ve been kicked by a donkey and their face looks like it’s about to fall off.
'Haggis hangin'?' I asked. He said, 'I’m hangin’ by the thread of my soul.'
He came in and I said, 'Haggis hangin'?' He said, 'I’m hangin’ by the last of my willpower.'
I yelled, 'Haggis hangin'?' He yelled back, 'I’m hangin’ by the last of my pride.'
