Hackaya is when the Irish tell you you look like a total mess. It’s the worst kind of tease you can get from someone who knows you too well.
"Hackaya, you look like you slept in a pizza box!", my brother after I forgot to shower again.
"Hackaya, your face looks like it got stepped on by a cow!", from my teacher after I made a total mess of my homework.
"Hackaya, you look like a donut who got hit by a sock!", my friend after I wore my mom’s old socks to school.
