ear whipping
A loud rant given by someone who thinks they're the most important person in the line, usually right before the food runs out.
"You think you're the only one who's been waiting?" he yelled, like he hadn't been standing there for 2 hours.
She screamed at the soup kitchen staff like they owed her money.
He started talking about his ex while the line was moving, and no one wanted to hear it.
