It’s a Jojo thing. It means ‘But I refuse’ in Japanese. You use it when you’re being cool and sassy.
Daga said, ‘だが断る’ when I told her I was better than her.
She used it in class and got extra credit.
She said it to my dog, and now the dog won’t eat.
