A Waitress Farewell
A waitress or waiter yells 'Come back soon!' like they’re giving you a promotion instead of a goodbye, totally clueless that you might never return or might come back in five years with a hangover and a death wish.
'Come back soon!' as if I’m going to be your best friend forever.
'See you next time!' while I’m already walking out the door.
'We’ll miss you!' while I’m eating the last bite of my waffle.
