A Miami is when someone says they're coming to a spot and then vanish like a fart in a hurricane. This is a common trick used by lazy kids from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.
"I'm gonna be there in 10 minutes!", 2 hours later, he's still in the mall.
"I'm coming to the party!", he showed up at the bar 3 blocks away.
"I'll be there in 5!", he showed up after the event ended and asked for a free drink."
