A date
A date is when someone asks you out and you say yes, usually because they promised you something good, like pizza, or because you’re too shy to say no.
He asked me out and said he’d bring pizza. I said yes. I didn’t even care about the pizza.
She said yes to my date because I said I’d buy her a smoothie.
He asked me out and said he’d bring snacks. I said yes, and now I’m stuck with him.
