A painter’s cap is like a drug break. You smoke before painting. You smoke after painting. You smoke because painting is hard.

Before painting, I hit the cap. Now I’m high and I’m ready to mess up the whole job.

I painted all day. Then I put on the cap. Now I’m high and I’m ready to go home.

I took a break, put on the cap, and now I can’t stop giggling at my own work.
