Painche is when you yell at your buddy to get their stupid attention. It started way back when Cajun guys in Louisiana would call each other painche instead of punch. Now it's just drunk people trying not to embarrass themselves.

Painching is when you rub your junk just enough to feel good, but not so much that it ruins your healing. It’s like giving yourself a mini massage while still trying to avoid getting kicked out of the hospital.
