Pain Angel
A Pain Angel is when you hit the ground so hard after a fall that you just naturally sprawl out like a dead man. It’s like your body says, 'I’m not done yet.'
I face-planted the floor and immediately became a Pain Angel. My dignity went with it.
After getting tackled, I became a Pain Angel. My teammates laughed. My pride died.
I tripped over my own feet and became a Pain Angel. It was glorious.
