An octave is when you move a musical line up or down like eight levels. It’s like the music goes from low to super high.
My guitar teacher said I played the melody up an octave and it sounded like a spaceship.
The singer hit an octave higher and the crowd went wild.
That trumpet player went into the octave and it was like magic.
