Oak Bay
A place near Victoria where the ferry called The Queen of Oak Bay takes you to Nanaimo like it’s a dessert, and no one seems to care that it’s just a ferry.
I took The Queen of Oak Bay and it felt like I was eating a Nanaimo bar but on water. It was sweet and confusing.
My mom took the ferry to Nanaimo and still thinks it’s a special event. It’s just a ferry, not a holiday.
The Queen of Oak Bay is the only thing that makes sense in Oak Bay. Everything else is just rich people nonsense.
