Lackjoke intolerance
Lackjoke intolerance is when someone can't stand jokes and acts like they're dying every time one is told. They think life is a tragedy and jokes are just a punch to the gut.
My cousin cried when I said, 'Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side!' He thought it was a death sentence.
At the family dinner, my aunt yelled, 'That joke was worse than my divorce!' and threw a roll at me.
My neighbor screamed, 'I can't take this nonsense!' when I told a pun about a tomato.
