kafta
Spiced meat clumps, sometimes lamb, chicken, or beef, mixed with veggies like onions and grilled on sticks or used in fancy meals. Found mostly in places where people know how to cook and don’t say ‘meatball’ like it’s a curse.
My mom makes kafta every Friday and I swear it tastes like heaven, but also like my math teacher’s coffee.
I tried to make kafta myself and it came out more like a meat bomb than a meal.
My uncle said kafta is the best thing since sliced bread, but I think he just wants to fight my cousin.
