A kabayan is someone who thinks you’re their best friend just because you’re both Filipino. Even if you hate each other.
My kabayan and I hate each other. But we still call each other kabayan. Like it’s a law.
My kabayan sent me a message saying we’re best friends. I replied with a text saying we’re enemies. He still calls me kabayan.
My kabayan and I haven’t talked in a year. But he still calls me kabayan. I think he’s just trying to annoy me.
