Jackpine
A bad word for Finnish people in Minnesota back in the day. They called them 'jackpine' because they were like the savage version of a Fin.
My grandma was called a jackpine when she came to America.
That jackpine was the first Finnish person to come to the town.
Jackpine was the reason my great-grandpa moved to Minnesota.
