A stupid nickname for Joliet, Illinois. The people who live there gave it to themselves because they’re too lazy to say the real name.
My cousin lives in J-Town and he still calls it Joliet sometimes.
I asked my friend if he was from J-Town and he said, 'Yeah, and I’m proud of it.'
My teacher from J-Town said he doesn’t like the nickname.
