A total scam. People from the lamest parts of the world say they’re from Chicago to make themselves sound like they live in a real city. They’re usually from places like Lansing or Merrillville and still think that makes them a real Chicagoan.
He said, "I’m from Chicago," but then told me he had a house in South Holland and still thought it was the fanciest thing ever.
She posted on Instagram: "I’m from Chicago, not some dumb suburb." Then she lived in Indiana.
