I'll take your word for it
A way of saying you don't want to question something and just let someone else say it's true.
'I'll take your word for it' when my teacher said the test was easy, even though it was impossible.
'I'll take your word for it' when my friend said he had a million dollars, even though he had a job.
'I'll take your word for it' when my brother said he had a pet tiger, even though it was just a cat.
