The first arts club in Columbia run by Jack Gerstner in 1996. It’s where fancy art and culture came to the backwoods, and people stopped being boring. It’s not the same as that cheap knockoff on Whaley Street.
I went to Gallery 701 and got culture. The fake one gave me a headache.
Gallery 701 is the real deal. That other one is a disgrace.
I saw Wynton Marsalis there. The fake one just had a guy playing a kazoo.
