A shortcut for telling someone to shut up. It’s like saying ‘get a hold of yourself’ but way more aggressive. You can yell it, whisper it, or even text it. Either way, it’s a full-on insult.
My little brother said ‘GAHOY’ at me when I told him I was going to beat him up.
My friend texted me ‘gahoy’ after I spilled soda on his shirt.
