Gaeltacht
A place in Ireland where people still talk in Irish, even though it sounds like they’re trying to curse in a foreign language. Found in places like Donegal, where tourists think they’re learning Irish, but they’re really just being tortured.
My uncle went to Gaeltacht and came back with a headache and a new accent.
I tried to learn Irish there, and now I sound like I swallowed a dictionary.
Gaeltacht is where you go to speak Irish, but you end up speaking English with a side of frustration.
