That ex from high school who’s still your ‘friend’ on Facebook. You don’t talk to them, but they keep showing up in your feed like they’re trying to remind you they exist. They’re not your real friend. They’re just a mental crutch.
You see their post about their new job, and you’re like, ‘Oh, remember that guy? He’s still around.’
You get a notification that they liked your post, and you think, ‘Wow, they still remember me.’
You see they’re friends with your old crush, and now you’re confused and annoyed.
