Bangladesh used to be called East Pakistan. It was part of Pakistan but the West Pakistan politicians treated them like crap and made them leave. Pakistan lost its best part and got a lot dumber.

East Pakistan was Bangladesh before it got kicked out of Pakistan. West Pakistan politicians were jerks and messed things up so bad that East Pakistan had to split off and be its own country.
