Dad reflexes are like having a sixth sense that only dads get. It lets them stop a kid from doing anything stupid, even if it means getting yelled at by the whole neighborhood.
Dad sees kid about to throw a baseball at the neighbor’s window. Dad catches it mid-air. Neighbor is confused and thinks he’s a wizard.
Dad sees kid trying to climb a tree. Dad grabs him by the ankle before he falls. Kid is mad and thinks he’s been tortured.
Dad sees kid about to eat a whole cake in one bite. Dad takes it away before it even hits his mouth. Kid is heartbroken.
