Dad Anxiety
It's when you're hit with the fear that you might be the worst dad ever. You start thinking if you'll be the dad who laughs at the kid's jokes or the dad who just stares at them like they're a mystery.
I see a kid and I think, 'I might be the dad who stares at them like they're a mystery and forgets their name.'
In the car, I look at a kid and think, 'I might be the dad who forgets how to drive and just stares at the road like it's a puzzle.'
