When you translate a document so badly that it doesn’t make sense. You just translate each word and forget the whole thing.
I translated a letter and it turned into 'The cat ran the dog.' It was nonsense.
My teacher translated a whole essay and it just said 'The man ate the apple.' That was not the point.
I translated a report and it read 'The bird flew the tree.' No one knew what was going on.
