A true gentleman is a man who has the skills to play the banjo but refuses to show off. He’s the type who would rather play it in the background while you’re doing your thing than take all the glory.
He played the banjo during my speech at the party, even though I asked him not to.
He played it when I was crying in the bathroom.
He played it just to make me laugh when I failed the test.
