A Surfer's Prayer is when you curse the universe for bad waves and beg it to let you ride the best ones.
I cursed the ocean and got a wave that was so good it made my board look like it was smiling.
I begged the sea to give me a wave so big it knocked my friend off the board and into a shark.
I prayed to the god of waves and got a ride that made my friend look like he was about to cry.
