A rooster was a nickname for soldiers who fired machine guns like they were born to do it and didn’t care if they got shot.
The rooster in our squad fired first and didn’t stop until he ran out of bullets and bullets ran out of patience.
That rooster was in a nest so deep, he probably thought he was in a bunker in Paris.
He was called a rooster because he fired like he had a death wish and a gun.
