A break is when someone says they need time away, but they already have someone else. It’s like they’re trying to make you feel bad while they’re sneaking around with someone else.
She said she needed a break. I said, ‘You’re still my girl.’ (She said, ‘Nope. I’m with my ex.’)
He asked for a break because he had a new girl. (He didn’t even tell me.)
I needed a break because I had to deal with her ex. (He had a new girl.)
