Mac: 'I never break the rules!' Then he gets shot in the back by a kid with a toy gun.

Mac: 'I'm not leaving until this case is solved!' Then he leaves 10 minutes later.

Mac: 'I'm a superhero!' Then he tripped over his own feet.
