Laidback Legends was a band that started in 2007 in St Helens, UK. Two friends, Graeme Brown and Ste Kurzeja, started making pop punk music just for fun. They got lucky and joined forces with James Woodyer and Änthöny Patrick Mört when the Happy Hardcore scene came along.

I started playing pop punk just because I was bored. Then the Happy Hardcore scene hit me like a punch to the face.

I was just messing around with my friend Ste. Then out of nowhere, we had a band.

I didn’t think I’d be part of a band. Then I got dragged into it with James and Änthöny.
