The L98 A1 Cadet GP Rifle is the army cadet version of the SA80, but it’s like the SA80 got a facelift and a personality disorder. No gas parts. Just a bolt action rifle with a cocking handle so big it could double as a doorstop.
“I tried to shoot the target, but the cocking handle nearly broke my hand.”, @CadetJokeMachine
“This rifle is so basic, it’s like being stuck in the 80s with no Wi-Fi.”, @RifleRant
“I tried to fire it, and it felt like I was using a shovel to dig my way through a mountain.”, @BoltActionBuddy

This rifle is like the SA80’s fat cousin. It took out the gas parts and replaced them with a bolt action mechanism and a cocking handle that looks like it was stolen from a truck.
“This rifle is like my grandpa’s walkie-talkie. It works, but it’s ancient.”, @CadetLegacy
“I tried to fire it, and I swear it gave me a headache.”, @RifleHeadache
“It’s not a rifle, it’s a relic.”, @CadetRant

If the SA80 is the cool kid in class, the L98 A1 Cadet GP Rifle is the kid who wears a tuxedo to the prom and still gets laughed at.
“I tried to shoot, and it felt like I was trying to fire a cannon with a spoon.”, @SpoonShooter
“This rifle is so old, my grandpa’s dog could outshoot it.”, @DogeShooter
“This thing is like my grandma’s sewing machine. It works, but it’s loud.”, @RifleRant
