Pronounce Jacksun-VILLE'. The Harvard of Calhoun County, Alabama. AKA The Gem of the Hills. Used to be a party school until the city council came in like a wrecking ball and killed all the fun. Most students are Georgia transplants who think Alabama is a state, not a punchline.
"I went to Jacksonville State because I thought it was a real university. Turns out it's just a college with a bad attitude.", @Jacksonvillian23
"City council is the worst. They killed my Friday night fun.", @PartySchoolVibes
“I’m from Georgia, and I came here because I thought it was a real school. Now I’m stuck with the worst campus in the South.”, @GeorgiaTransplant
