I keep telling people that my dad beats me but no one will listen

My dad just broke my nose and my friends said 'whatever'

He beat me so bad I missed school and no one even asked why

I told my teacher my dad hits me and she said 'you should be grateful'

I cried in the hallway and no one cared

I texted my best friend about it and he said 'just take a pill'

He broke my arm and I said 'he’s a beast' and no one laughed

He beat me and I said 'he’s a psycho' and my mom said 'he’s just tired'

He kicked me out of the house and I said 'he’s a lunatic' and no one believed me
