I told my mom I failed math, but I added that I got a 70% on the test. She believed me, even though I actually got a 30%.
He said he got fired for slapping his boss, but he didn’t mention he did it during a Zoom meeting.
She claimed she got the promotion because she worked late, but she didn’t say she also took a nap during the meeting.
