The cringe-filled time between when you win an item and when it finally arrives, usually after you’ve already forgotten about it and started bidding on something else.

I won that toaster and forgot about it until I got a text saying it was on its way and I had no idea what I’d won.

I was halfway through bidding on a new PS5 when I remembered I still had that weird lamp from eBay waiting to show up.

I thought I’d won a spaceship, but it turned out to be a used sock.
