A person with Asian roots who got lost in East Africa and decided to stay. They speak Swahili, but they still can’t pronounce ‘matoke’ properly. Cool, but also a bit confused.
My aunt is from India but lives in Kenya. She says she’s East African now. I just call her ‘the confused one’.
